Ms. Wang Zhiqin is the director of Institute of Communication Standards Research of CATR. She has been dedicated to the pioneering research and practice in the field of mobile communications, and she is specialized in the mobile communications technical research and standards. She manages and takes charge of many mobile communications enterprises standardization projects. She is the vice chair of IMT-2020(5G)Promotion Association, TD-LTE expert team. She also is the chair of CCSA wireless technical committee.


 

Zhu Jinkang has joined in University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) since 1966, and is a professor of USTC from 1992. He has been loyal to research on wireless mobile communications and network, communications signal processing, and the future wireless technologies.

Prof. Zhu was a member of the Expert Group of High Technology Communication Subject (863), director of the Expert Group of Wireless communications. He was director of the School of Information Science and Technology of USTC.

He was China delegate of Mobile Communication Forum of Asia-Pacific Region, the Keynote speaker of 4th IEEE ISSSC’92, the General chair of International Symposium of WCDMA technology (1997), the General Chair of Symposium of Green Wireless communication Technologies (2009), and the General co-Chair of WCSP2014.

Now, he is interest in Green wireless communications and networks, Signal processing in wireless networks and Emerging technologies in wireless communications, including Big data for wireless networks. Recently, he successfully initiated and organized two important academic conferences: "Green Wireless Communication technologies" and "Wireless Networks for Big Data".


 

Zhaoyang Zhang (M’02) received his Ph.D. degree in communication and information systems from Zhejiang University, China, in 1998. Currently, he is a full professor with the College of Information Science and Electronic Engineering, Zhejiang University, and is the director for two institutions including Zhejiang Provincial Key Laboratory of Information Networks, China, and Institute of Information and Communication Engineering, Zhejiang University. His research interests are mainly focused on information theory and coding theory, signal processing techniques, and their applications in wireless communications and networking. He has co-authored more than 200 refereed journal and conference papers and two books, and holds more than 30 patents in the above areas. He was a co-recipient of three conference Best Paper / Best Student Paper Awards. He is currently serving as Editor for IEEE Transactions on Communications, IET Communications and some other international journals. He served as TPC Co-Chair or Symposium Co-Chair for many international conferences like WCSP’ 2013 and Globecom 2014 Wireless Communications Symposium, etc.


 

Pingzhi Fan received his PhD degree in Electronic Engineering from the Hull University, UK. He is currently a professor and director of the institute of mobile communications, Southwest Jiaotong University, China. He is a recipient of the UK ORS Award, the Outstanding Young Scientist Award by NSFC, and the chief scientist of a national 973 research project. He served as general chair or TPC chair of a number of international conferences, and is the guest editor-in-chief, guest editor or editorial member of several international journals. He is the founding chair of IEEE VTS BJ Chapter and ComSoc CD Chapter, the founding chair of IEEE Chengdu Section. He also served as a board member of IEEE Region 10, IET(IEE) Council and IET Asia-Pacific Region. He has over 200 research papers published in various academic English journals (IEEE/IEE/IEICE, etc), and 8 books (incl. edited), and is the inventor of 20 granted patents. His research interests include high mobility wireless communications, 5G technologies, wireless networks for big data, signal design & coding, etc. He is a fellow of IEEE, IET(IEE), CIE and CIC, and an IEEE VTS Distinguished Lecturer (2015-2017).
