Qualifications
  • University students from electronics engineering, computer science, etc. departments from all around the world are eligible to apply for InnovateAsia.
  • Each team should not exceed 3 students and 1 advisor.
  • All members of academia, as well as industry experts, engineers, researchers may submit papers.

Document Requirements
  • English is strongly recommended. If a Chinese paper is submitted and chosen as an Outstanding Paper, the author must translate it to English for submission to the Workshop periodical.
  • Paper Length: 8-20 pages.
Content Scope
  • Research that is realized using Altera FPGAs or platforms for invention, design, or practical application.
  • The project should be able to be demonstrated on an FPGA platform with our without daughter cards.
  • Papers are to be separated into categories including software, IP, hardware circuitry, and system design.

Registration Rules:

  • Registration is open from 4/10/2013 to 5/24/2013
  • If registration is successful, participants should receive a confirmation email containing your team ID and FTP account/password.
  • Participants can login to the FTP (ftp://innovate.terasic.com) to submit papers, designs, videos, etc.

Submission Process:

  • Participants and authors should submit papers to the FTP space (ftp://innovate.terasic.com) by 7/26/2013.
  • Participants should upload project videos and source code (if necessary) to the FPT space (ftp://innovate.terasic.com) by 8/23/2013.
    • Videos should not exceed 100MB.
    • Video file format should be of mp4 format, and should be at least 480p in quality.
    • Video filenames should include team ID and team name.

Board of Judges:

  • International esteemed academics shall be invited to join the board of judges.
  • Senior engineers and managers from Altera/Terasic.

Awards

  • Winners shall be contacted by email. The winner's list will also be posted on the website.
  • Articles covering the winners shall be published on the Terasic website.
  • The awards ceremony location and time is set to be announced soon.
