  • Revolution of Innovation – From Cross-Straits to the World

In 2012’s InnovateAsia, students used FPGA platforms as a basis to deliver excellent research projects, such as a T-shirt try-on system, a 3D-sensing interactive game, a self-balancing unicycle, a glasses-free 3D imaging system, and more. In addition, 2012 marked the first year of “The Asia-Pacific Workshop on FPGA Applications,” which gathered more than 200 members, and was published for the world to see.

This year marks the tenth anniversary of InnovateAsia. The 2nd Asia-Pacific Workshop on FPGA Applications is set to commence, and papers on FPGA application and research will be collected from all over the world from academia and industry for public appraisal.

In order to expand the chances for publishing excellent projects, this year expands on the prizes to be awards to excellent research, and of which 50 will be published in the workshop periodical. Rankings will include 5 first-rank placements, 10 second-rank placements, and 20 third-rank placements. All instructors, students, and industry experts are welcome to register.
