Q: What kind of competition is InnovateAsia?

Entering into the tenth anniversary, InnovateAsia is an international competition based in the Asia region committed to helping students take advantage of resources, showcase their blossoming creativity, and provide students with an unlimited work space to enhance their interest and skills of the FPGA design.

Q: What kinds of prizes are there?

Note 1: Award money is liable to tax-deduction according to national tax laws
Note 2: Researchers with Outstanding Papers and InnovateAsia finalists will be invited to attend the 2013 mid-November Asia-Pacific Workshop on FPGA Applications Conference, where food and housing will also be provided.

Q: How do I participate in InnovateAsia?

• The registration period will be between 4/10/2013 to 5/24/2013. Please provide all of the necessary information in order to complete the registration.
• Successful registrations will be confirmed via email. Teams will be provided an ID and an FTP account/password.
• Teams can use the FTP space provided to upload papers, videos, and designs.

Q: What parts are there to this contest?

• Teams can submit papers to enter the workshop periodical as well as submit designs to enter InnovateAsia.

Q: What are the requirements for submitting papers and joining InnovateAsia?

Requirements for submitting papers:

• All members of academia, as well as industry experts, engineers, researchers may submit papers.

Requirements for registering for InnovateAsia:

• University students from electronics engineering, computer science, etc. departments from all around the world are eligible to apply for InnovateAsia.
• Each team should not exceed 3 students and 1 advisor.
